Poverty and Belief System

To be poor is not a sin. Neither is it a crime. It is however not a recommendation. One of our main duties in life is therefore not to be poor. When you are poor you find it difficult to feed yourself not to talk of members of your family. You find it difficult to fend for yourself or your family. You cannot provide your need nor that of your family. It is therefore who feels it that knows it all.

God in His infinite mercies never created us to be poor. Being poor in most cases have something to do with our belief system Belief is a feeling of certainty about something. Our beliefs do have consequences. They influence our behaviors. They shape our lives. Directly or indirectly our behaviors are belief driven. To be poor has nothing to do with your education. Neither does it have anything to do with the environment where you were born. Nor with your looks. If you belief that there is nothing you could do about your poverty, you will stay poor. If your belief about money is negative, you will stay poor. Therefore your belief about money is a factor in getting wealth. It is a factor in being rich.

To get wealth or banish poverty from your life therefore, you need to change your belief about money. You need to wealth conscious. Robert Kiyasoki who wrote the book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” for example was not born rich. Going by his comments in the book, his real dad, the Poor Dad had his beliefs about money and getting wealth which he tried injecting into his son from youth. However with the help of his Rich Dad he changed his belief system about money and that changed his life. He became wealthy.

There are however three belief systems that could enhance this change;
1). It must change.
2). I must change.
3). I can change.

Once you imbibe these three belief systems the rest becomes easy. The first has something to do with your situation in life. That your situation regarding poverty must change. You should resolve that your situation must change. The second has to do with you. That you certainly have to change along with your situation. The third has something to do with you again. That you are absolutely sure that you could turn your situation around.
